DALLAS – On Sunday, March 11 to Thursday, March 15 starting from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following nightly closures will be in place:
- 1 left lane on the westbound LBJ TEXpress Lanes between US 75 and Coit will be closed.
On Sunday, March 11 from 4 a.m. to 5 a.m. until Monday, March 12 the following closures will be in place:
- The eastbound LBJ TEXpress Lanes on I-635 at the Coit Rd/ US 75 exit will be closed.
- The Preston Road entrance ramp to the eastbound LBJ TEXpress Lanes will be closed.
Due to these works, the southbound US 75 HOV connector to the westbound LBJ TEXpress Lanes on I-635 will be open Sunday, March 11, from 1 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Following 9 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, the US 75 reversible lane will be closed until 5 a.m. on Monday, March 12.
In addition, on Monday, March 12 to Sunday, March 18, the opening of southbound HOV US 75 to westbound LBJ TEXpress Lanes on I-635 will be shifted from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.

This work is part of the $2.6 billion LBJ Express project, which began in 2011 and was completed in September 2015, included the reconstruction of expanded frontage lanes and main lanes, as well as the addition of bypass lanes and TEXpress managed lanes along IH 635 between Luna Rd. and Greenville Ave. and IH 35E between Loop 12 and Valley View Ln. in Dallas. This expansive reconstruction project is successfully alleviating traffic congestion along one of the busiest highway corridors in the state, with as many as 250,000 cars traveling the stretch daily.
