On Friday, March 31, NTE Mobility Partners (NTEMP) presented their first STEM related grant check for $3,618.37 to teachers from O.H. Stowe Elementary for their LEGO Robotics program at the annual Tribute to Leadership event. This grant is part of the $40,000 that NTEMP awarded to Birdville Education Foundation for STEM related education programs.
Following a silent auction and TCU´s Women´s Basketball Head Coach, Raegan Pebley, who was the keynote speaker, the grant recipients were revealed. Tito Rodriguez, Executive Director of the Birdville Education Foundation invited NTEMP´s CEO, Alberto Gonzalez and Deputy CEO, Luis Vazquez along with NTEMP´s COO, Daniel Fernandez to present the check to winning teachers, Kelly Stephens, Rosemary Christensen and Ronda Nickens.
This is the first of many grant presentations that will follow in the spring. As more grant recipients are revealed, the Birdville Education Foundation and NTEMP will join together to surprise the winning teachers with big checks.

ABOUT THE NORTH TARRANT EXPRESS
The $2.1 billion North Tarrant Express project, which began in 2010 and was completed in October 2015, included the reconstruction of expanded frontage lanes and main lanes, as well as the addition of bypass lanes and TEXpress managed lanes along I-820 and SH-121/183 between 35W in Fort Worth and Industrial Boulevard (FM 156) in Euless. This expansive reconstruction project is successfully alleviating traffic congestion along one of the busiest highway corridors in the North Texas and the state, with as many as 200,000 cars traveling the stretch daily.
