Fostering Collaboration and Innovation Through Team Building Exercises
At LBJ Express, we believe that fostering strong relationships and promoting a culture of teamwork is essential for success. Our Maintenance team recently showcased their collaborative skills in the form of a bridge-building challenge, drawing influence from our TEXpress STEM Camps.
In their monthly team exercise, our crews designed and constructed robust bridges using popsicle sticks and wood glue. The challenge pushed them to work together effectively, emphasizing communication, coordination, and creativity.
The results were not only impressive in terms of the popsicle-stick bridges created, but also in the intangible benefits gained through enhanced teamwork dynamics. This activity served as a platform for our team members to think innovatively and collaborate seamlessly towards a common goal.
Greg Joslin, Maintenance Manager for LBJ Express, remarked, “During this team building exercise, I watched the team really work together. Each of them was able to put their spin on the project. The goal is to show the team we are much stronger as a group than as individuals.”
We are excited about exploring more fun, engaging team-building exercises that will continue to fortify our workforce and help forge connections amongst our team members.
