TEXpress Toll Assistance Program Overview
TEXpress Toll Assistance Program:
- This temporary trial program is exclusive only to the LBJ, NTE & NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, which are privately operated by LBJ Infrastructure Group LLC, NTE Mobility Partners LLC and NTE Mobility Partners Segments 3 LLC (collectively, the “LBJ, NTE & NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes).
- Provides unlimited free tolls* for qualified* low-income residents in North Texas to enhance access to reliable transportation for all.
- Eligible only for participants who are already qualified and approved for the SNAP/WIC benefit programs in the state of Texas at the time of enrollment.
- Valid only for enrolled users who receive a confirmation email directly from LBJ/NTE/NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes. This Confirmation Email verifies and discloses your toll discount eligibility and is valid only for the submitted vehicle license plate number and/or toll tag number disclosed in the email. (the “Confirmation Email”).
- Valid from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. for any day of the week between X date and December 31, 2025 (the “Toll Assistance Period”)*. *”Toll Assistance Period” subject to change.
- Available only to Class 12 vehicles (passenger cars, pickup trucks, small vans, SUVs and motorcycles), Class 13 vehicles (single occupant vehicles +1 or more trailers), Class 14 vehicles (buses and recreational vehicles) and Class 15 vehicles (larger than a large truck, but not larger than a Special Permit Vehicle).
- Discount will not apply to Class 16 vehicles (large or extra large truck pulling a trailer), Class 17 vehicles (large or extra large truck pulling more than one trailer) or Class 18 vehicles (larger than a truck or a special permit vehicle).
TEXpress Toll Assistance Program Eligibility
You will qualify for the TEXpress Toll Assistance Program as long as you meet all of the following eligibility requirements:
- You are currently qualified for and are a current recipient of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for low-income households) or WIC (nutrition program for low-income Women, Infants, and Children) benefit programs in the state of Texas at the time of enrollment.
- You have a valid vehicle license plate number registered to the same name assigned to your SNAP/WIC benefits card.
- You enroll for the TEXpress Toll Assistance Program by X date (Registration Date).
- You receive a confirmation email verifying your registered vehicle license plate is eligible for the TEXpress Toll Assistance Program.
- You must be the registered owner of the vehicle.
How to Enroll
To enroll for the TEXpress Toll Assistance Program, participants must submit the online registration form in complete accuracy on TEXpressLanes.com (“the Website”). The information submitted is subject to the Privacy Policy provided herein.
By enrolling for the TEXpress Toll Assistance Program, participants accept all of the terms and conditions of these Official Rules (link here). A participant’s enrollment must fulfill all eligibility requirements to receive the TEXpress Toll Assistance Program benefits.
Enrollments that are incomplete, inaccurate or that otherwise do not adhere to these Official Rules (link here) will be disqualified from the TEXpress Toll Assistance Program. Unintelligible entries; entries with incomplete, invalid, incorrect, or noncurrent information; entries that are counterfeit, damaged, or tampered with in any way; and entries with printing, production, or typographical errors will be disqualified. Disqualified entries and entries that are late, lost, damaged, misdirected, stolen, or not delivered are not the responsibility of the LBJ/NTE/NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes.
The LBJ/NTE/NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes are not responsible if a participant does not receive his or her TEXpress Toll Assistance Program benefits (i.e. toll discounts) because erroneous, expired, canceled, fraudulent, or fake information was provided during enrollment.
Where can I use the TEXpress Toll Assistance Program benefits?
LBJ TEXpress Lanes are located on:
- I-635 between I-35E and US 75
- The I-635/35E direct connector ramp from westbound I-635 which runs:
- South on I-35E to Exit T-436, Loop 12 (general highway lanes), the Loop 12 TEXpress Lanes (TxDOT-operated lanes) and the I-35E South Exit (general highway lanes)
- North on I-35E onto to the I-35E general highway lanes
- The I-635/35E direct connector ramp from the southbound I-35E general highway lanes (Exit 440D I-635 East TEXpress Entrance) onto the:
- Eastbound I-635 general highway lanes, frontage road or LBJ TEXpress Lanes
- The I-635/35E direct connector ramp from the southbound I-35E TEXpress Lanes (TxDOT-operated lanes) using the I-35E TEXpress/Belt Line Road Entrance onto the:
- Eastbound I-635 general highway lanes, frontage road or LBJ TEXpress Lanes
- The I-635/35E direct connector ramp from the northbound I-35E general highway lanes, frontage road or the Loop 12 onto the:
- Eastbound I-635 general highway lanes, frontage road or LBJ TEXpress Lanes
NTE TEXpress Lanes are located on:
- I-820/Northeast Loop, in the middle of the existing roadway, from the I-35W interchange to North East Mall
- SH-121/183 Airport Freeway, adjacent to the general highway lanes, from the North East Mall to SH-121 or SH-183 beyond the 121 interchange (Industrial Boulevard)
- These lanes connect to TxDOT’s SH-183 TEXpress Lanes (Industrial Boulevard)
NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes are located on:
- I-35W, between the general highway lanes, from the I-30/downtown Fort Worth interchange to north of US 287
Discount is not available on the following TEXpress Lanes or HOV/Express Lanes, which are managed by the Texas Department of Transportation:
- Loop 12 TEXpress Lanes, I-35E TEXpress Lanes , LBJ East HOV/Express Lanes (from US 75 to I-30), I-30 TEXpress Lanes, SH-114 TEXpress Lanes, SH 183 TEXpress Lanes
Discount is not available on the following toll roads, which are managed by the North Texas Tollway Authority:
- Dallas North Tollway, President George Bush Turnpike, Chisholm Trail Parkway, Addison Airport Toll Tunnel, Mountain Creek Lake Bridge, Sam Rayburn Tollway, Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge and 360 Tollway
